Marie Kinderman, American

Carl Lao, Filipino

“I have used WorkHome Personnel for many years as they have always provided efficient and excellent service. Daisy and Maria have helped me with the employment of all my maids and most recently to transfer my maid to my parents. I have always highly recommended their great service to my friends too.”

Michelle Wright, Australian

“As an expat residing in Singapore for almost seven years now, we have been lucky enough to have had placed with us a wonderful helper. “N” was exactly what we needed during the stressful time of an international relocation with four small children. Daisy from WorkHome Personnel knew exactly what we required. At times during our stay we have required the assistance of a second maid. Again, Daisy was able to help us. The job description was slightly different in that the new helper needed to be able to work with “N”, but this was easily understood by Daisy and each time we have been more than happy.”

Mrs Yuko Bruce, Japanese

“WorkHome Personnel has helped our family find two domestic helpers over the past 7 years (2006-2013). Both of them were excellent. We found that Daisy listened well, she understood our needs well, and she recommended the right helpers. She did not waste our time. Daisy not only helped us find the right helpers, she was also very helpful and trust worthy when we needed advice and assistance. Her prompt business minded responsiveness to our needs, and her caring heart for both employee and the helper, were invaluable to our family and our domestic helpers over the last seven years. Daisy made our life in Singapore, and the life of our domestic helpers, a happy one. We highly recommend her and her company’s services.”

Shehara Dias, Sri Lankan

"I was referred to WorkHome Personnel in 2009, and haven’t looked back since. Both Daisy and Maria have been very helpful and friendly right from the start. Over the 5 years (2009-2014) I have worked with them, they have provided me with 3 helpers, the last of whom Analyn is still with me. They have always listened keenly to my requirements and tried their utmost to fulfill my needs. So much so that I have recommended WorkHome Personnel to many of my friends, and they too have not been disappointed so far. I wish WorkHome Personnel all success in the future, and recommend them without reservation."

The work permit is usually granted for 2 years but it can just for a year if you purchased an insurance and security bond that is only valid for 14 months.

A domestic helper is entitled to a vacation leave after completion of her 2 year contract and a paid leave of 15 days plus a return ticket. If she decides not to avail, the Employer should give her a monetary compensation depending on the prevailing air ticket price to her home country.

Employers will be required to attend an orientation program for if they have changed their domestic helpers five times or more within a year. MOM may also interview them to establish the reason for the frequent changes.
